Clube04, a Brazilian dog bathing and grooming chain, has 25 outlets in operation and another 17 under development, and forecasts revenue of R$14.7 million for 2026. The figures, published in a PEGN report on 17 October, show the brand’s progress since it began expanding through franchising in 2022. Its next phase includes a compact format, initially focused on south-eastern Brazil.
Revenue grows alongside franchise expansion
Clube04’s reported revenue rose from R$4 million in 2023 to R$8 million in 2024, reaching R$11.2 million in 2025. These figures show three years of growth, with revenue doubling between the first two years reported.
The R$14.7 million forecast for 2026 represents a further step in that trajectory, but remains a company projection rather than a confirmed result. This distinction matters for anyone following the brand’s expansion or considering joining the network: the figures for 2023 to 2025 are presented as actual revenue, while the 2026 figure remains an expectation.
According to the report, franchise expansion gained momentum through a partnership with Sidney Kalaes, president of Grupo Kalaes. Since entering the franchise sector in 2022, the chain has continued to expand its presence. Its revenue history helps put that progress into context, but does not replace a financial assessment of each individual outlet.
Presence in eight states, with more outlets under development
Clube04’s conventional format operates in São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, Espírito Santo, Pernambuco, Rondônia and Bahia. This format uses multiple grooming cubicles and occupies premises ranging from 30 m² to 200 m².
The reported total is 25 operating outlets, with a further 17 under development. These represent different stages of expansion: outlets under development should not yet be counted as open. The number of outlets actually operating is therefore the clearest measure of the chain’s current size.
Its footprint across eight states also provides a useful contrast with its next phase of growth. While the conventional model already operates in several regions of Brazil, the new format’s initial expansion will be more geographically concentrated.
New format forms part of the next phase
Called Clube04 Unique, the new format was designed to operate within residential complexes. It combines dog bathing and grooming with the convenience of providing the service where customers live.
The stated investment required is R$122,000, and the format can operate in spaces of 16 m² to 25 m². The first franchise has already been sold in São Paulo and is being set up. This means the first sale has taken place, but the outlet has not yet been reported as open to the public.
The company expects to have 24 outlets of this format operating within 12 months. During this initial period, expansion will focus on south-eastern Brazil. The target relates specifically to Unique and should not be confused with the chain’s current total number of outlets.
For the new format, the company estimates annual revenue of around R$500,000 per outlet and projects a payback period starting from 18 months. Both are forward-looking indicators, dependent on how each business is run and performs, rather than results already demonstrated by the first outlet.
What to consider before investing
Clube04’s expansion story combines historical figures, outlets under development and future targets. For prospective franchisees, separating these categories is essential: growth in the chain’s total revenue is not the same as the revenue an individual outlet can expect, just as a franchise sale is not the same as an outlet opening.
It is also worth comparing the requirements of the two formats. The conventional model and Unique have different space requirements, and the choice should take account of the specific conditions at the proposed premises.
In practice: before deciding, ask for the assumptions behind the revenue and payback projections, and check which outlets are already operating. Use the brand’s targets as a starting point for questions, not as a guarantee of performance.
