Żabka: PLN 35,000 in revenue in Warsaw. What does the offer mean?
Żabka has raised the advertised monthly revenue for franchisees in Warsaw to PLN 35,000. This is not the profit left in the business owner’s hands.

Żabka is now advertising monthly revenue of PLN 35,000 for franchisees in Warsaw, up from PLN 32,000 in 2025, according to a report published by dlahandlu.pl on 25 October 2026. Outside the Polish capital, the advertised figure is PLN 28,000. For anyone considering joining the franchise network, however, one distinction is crucial: revenue is not profit, nor is it money available for the business owner’s personal use.
The Warsaw figure has risen by PLN 3,000
Figures compiled by dlahandlu.pl show that the revenue advertised in Żabka’s Warsaw offer has increased by PLN 3,000 over a year. The current PLN 35,000 figure is the latest in a series of increases presented to prospective operators of the chain’s shops.
In April 2020, Żabka sought to attract prospective franchisees in the capital with a revenue figure of PLN 16,000, rising to PLN 17,000 in 2021. In August 2022, the figure was PLN 24,000, followed by PLN 28,000 in 2023. In 2025, the offer quoted PLN 32,000.
This is a history of changes to the advertised figures, not a comparison of individual shops’ profits. An increase in advertised revenue alone therefore does not show how much more profitable running a shop has become. Such an assessment would also require a comparison of operating costs and payment terms across the relevant periods.
Nor should the Warsaw figures automatically be applied to other towns and cities. The chain presents separate offers for the capital and for locations elsewhere, a distinction that needs to be considered from the outset when comparing offers.
Outside the capital, the offer quotes PLN 28,000
According to the same report, the revenue currently advertised for shops outside Warsaw is PLN 28,000 a month. At the beginning of 2022, the chain quoted PLN 18,000, followed by PLN 22,000 in 2023 and PLN 25,000 in 2024.
The gap between the current Warsaw offer and the offer outside the capital is therefore PLN 7,000. This does not, however, indicate a difference in franchisees’ profits. Higher revenue alone does not determine which location will be the better choice for an individual business owner.
The website also reports that prospective franchisees must contribute PLN 5,000 of their own funds. This amount should be considered separately from monthly revenue: it represents a different part of the franchise offer. It should not replace an individual financial plan covering start-up costs, day-to-day operations and a reserve for unexpected expenses.
When choosing a shop, the appropriate basis for comparison is therefore a financial projection for that particular outlet, rather than simply comparing two figures used in franchise recruitment materials.
Where does a franchisee’s revenue come from?
Żabka explains that a franchisee’s revenue depends on turnover from merchandise sales, which generates a margin, as well as the number or value of agreements for ancillary retail services and the rebates applied.
This means that assessing the offer requires an understanding of how payments are calculated, not just the final figure. The business owner’s revenue should not be confused with the total value of customers’ purchases in the shop. Nor is it equivalent to the profit generated by the business.
Profit is revenue minus the costs incurred in earning it. The advertised PLN 35,000 should therefore not be presented as the shop owner’s monthly salary or take-home pay. Without knowing which costs the franchisee bears and how payments are calculated, it is impossible to work out their individual financial result from this figure alone.
Before signing an agreement, it is worth asking for an explanation of each revenue component, the conditions for earning it and how it appears on the payment statement. It is also useful to establish which components depend on the shop’s performance and to prepare projections for different sales levels. This helps separate the appeal of the advertised figure from an assessment of your own business prospects.
Historical results do not substantiate the new threshold
The report also cites Żabka’s figures for September to December 2024. According to the chain, 81.2% of franchisees achieved revenue of at least PLN 28,000 during that period. Among franchisees operating Warsaw shops, more than 81% achieved PLN 32,000 or more.
These figures describe an earlier period and specific thresholds. They do not confirm that the same proportion of business owners now achieves PLN 35,000 in Warsaw. Nor do they mean that every franchisee achieved the stated amounts. When comparing statistics with the current offer, it is important to retain both the dates and the figures to which they relate.
For the franchise community, what matters is therefore not just the rise in advertised figures, but also interpreting them correctly. The practical takeaway: before deciding to join, ask for the current terms of the offer and a revenue and cost projection for the specific shop. Only then can you assess what the quoted figure might mean for your business.
