Pro Dent Clinic aims to build a network of 100 dental practices over the next few years, with around 70% of locations ultimately operating as franchises. The project is being developed by Jakub Fajkiel, Damian Ozga and Mariusz Gnych. According to an article published by XYZ on 3 November 2026, the starting point will be small practices in Poland’s smaller towns. Initial discussions with prospective partners are already under way, but the franchise offering will be presented more widely once the business model has been refined.
Smaller towns rather than major urban centres
Pro Dent Clinic’s plan stands out primarily for its choice of locations and the size of each practice. The founders do not intend to base expansion on large, company-owned clinics in major urban centres. Instead, they are starting with practices containing a few treatment rooms in smaller towns. Their assumptions allow for an average of 2.5 treatment rooms per practice.
This is an important distinction when assessing the announced target. One hundred practices means 100 planned locations, not 100 large medical centres. Likewise, the founders’ stated ambition to become a market leader refers to the number of locations. It should not be interpreted as a claim that the network will generate the highest revenue or treat the most patients.
Damian Ozga says that no dental network in Poland has yet exceeded 100 locations. This is his assessment, quoted by XYZ, and provides the rationale for the project’s ambition. Pro Dent Clinic’s target remains a plan for the coming years, however, rather than a description of the network’s current size.
Three routes to building the network
Expansion is intended to follow three routes: company-owned clinics, acquisitions and franchising. The model therefore does not rely solely on opening practices from scratch or bringing independent practices under a shared brand. Franchising will be one of the tools used to build the network, although it is expected to account for the majority of locations in the long term.
Two approaches to working with partners are being considered. The first involves close co-operation with existing practices. The second involves opening new practices jointly with partners. The announcement may therefore interest both owners of established practices and those considering opening a new one.
These two routes should be considered separately. Joining the network with an existing practice and setting up a new location are different business decisions. When assessing the future offering, prospective partners should establish which option is being discussed and what obligations it entails. The stated intention to expand through franchising does not, in itself, establish the detailed terms of the partnership.
For those interested in Poland’s franchise market, the key figure is the planned proportion of partner-operated locations: around 70%. This is the long-term target announced by Pro Dent Clinic’s chief executive, not the network’s current structure or a measure of how many agreements have been signed.
First franchise locations planned for the second half of 2027
The timetable envisages a phased approach to preparing for expansion. According to Pro Dent Clinic’s chief executive, initial discussions are already taking place, while the offering will be presented more widely once the business model has been refined. The network would like to open several franchise locations in the second half of 2027.
Faster expansion is envisaged within two years of the article’s publication, meaning around 2028. Both dates should be treated as statements of future intent. They do not indicate completed investments or confirm that any specific practices have already opened.
For prospective partners, this means distinguishing between preliminary discussions and a fully developed investment proposition. The announcement outlines the direction of expansion, the preferred type of town and the intended role of franchising. Any decision to join the project should nevertheless be based on specific terms for the individual practice, rather than solely on a target for the network as a whole.
What to check before discussing a partnership
Pro Dent Clinic joins the businesses seeking to consolidate Poland’s dental market, which XYZ values at almost PLN 20 billion. Large healthcare groups and investment funds are also competing for a share of this market. Fajkiel, Ozga and Gnych’s project aims to take a different route, combining smaller practices with a substantial proportion of franchise partners.
Practice owners interested in this model should ask about their degree of autonomy, the division of responsibilities, required investment and the terms for using the shared brand. For a new practice, it is also worth establishing who will be responsible for selecting the location, fitting out the premises and organising the launch. These are matters to clarify during discussions, not confirmed features of Pro Dent Clinic’s offering.
Practical takeaway: the development of the franchise model is worth monitoring, but the plan for 100 practices should be treated as a growth ambition. The appeal of any partnership will depend on the terms of the individual agreement and the economics of the practice concerned.
