Avenir Rénovations honours its top Belgian franchisee for the first time

Avenir Rénovations has recognised its top Belgian franchisee for the first time at its annual convention. The gathering in Marrakech brought together 230 participants, including franchisees from six European countries. For the Belgian franchise community, this first dedicated award was a notable feature of the international network event.

Belgium gets its own award

The award was presented during the traditional ‘Cérémonie des Étoiles’, which celebrates achievements across the Avenir Rénovations network. The ceremony took place during an evening in the Agafay Desert, near Marrakech. Alongside the French franchisees recognised for their performance, the top Belgian franchisee also received an award this time.

According to the announcement published by Avenir Rénovations on 27 October 2026, this was a first for the network. The Belgian award was therefore the main news from a convention otherwise focused on networking, international development and shared activities.

The franchisor links the award to its growing presence in Belgium. This is the network’s own interpretation: the award gives Belgian business owners a distinct place within its international recognition of franchisees. The announcement also looks ahead, suggesting scope for future awards for franchisees from Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and Luxembourg.

Business owners from six countries come together

Franchisees from France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Spain and Portugal attended the convention. The event had 230 participants in total. That figure covers the entire gathering and should not be read as the number of Belgian business owners attending or the number of franchise outlets.

The network presented the gathering as an opportunity to exchange experiences across its European markets. Participants spent several days in Morocco, where they could build connections with fellow business owners from other countries. According to Avenir Rénovations, strengthening these relationships was a central aim.

For the Belgian participants, the convention placed their businesses in a broader European context. They attended alongside business owners from the five other countries where the franchise operates. The story is therefore not just about an award, but also about how the franchisor involves its Belgian franchisees in the international network.

Networking alongside future plans

The programme combined networking opportunities with an extensive social programme. Avenir Rénovations mentions an Arabian Nights-themed evening, a ‘Marché des Saveurs’ food market, a performance by DJ Cut Killer, activities in Marrakech and a second evening at Nouba. The opening evening in Agafay provided the setting for the awards ceremony.

These shared activities were intended to help franchisees build connections. In its review of the event, the franchisor emphasises the exchange of experiences and the sense of community among business owners. Alongside the celebrations, the convention was firmly positioned as a gathering for the franchise community.

The franchise’s further development was also on the agenda. During the convention, Avenir Rénovations presented its future direction and several new developments intended to support franchisees’ businesses. The announcement describes that presentation only in broad terms. The substantive news is therefore that the network was briefed on future plans, rather than that a specific new service or Belgian outlet expansion programme was launched.

European ambitions with local support

Avenir Rénovations says it wants to continue its international development while maintaining support close to its franchisees. The network already operates in six European countries and links its further ambitions to bringing business owners together around its renovation concept.

The first Belgian award fits that message. It highlights Belgium’s participation in an event that brought together the entire European network. At the same time, an award is not a measure of the terms on offer or the performance of an individual franchise business.

Practical takeaway: anyone considering an Avenir Rénovations franchise can use the convention as a starting point for specific questions about support in Belgium, exchanges with other franchisees and the practical assistance that will follow from the announced plans.
