Food Trucks Infinito is entering Argentina’s franchise market with a concept that combines food service, family involvement and inclusive employment. Created by Fabián Sánchez Rojas, owner of Cono Pizza and father of two autistic children, it aims to enable neurodivergent people to work in and own their own business. The first openings are planned for November 2026.
A franchise with several ways to take part
Sánchez Rojas outlined the launch in an interview published by iProfesional on 26 October. The concept allows families to buy a unit, as well as investors who wish to purchase a food trailer and employ disabled people.
Shared ownership is another part of the model. As its creator explained, a family can buy a trailer and then bring in other families through financial contributions, giving the business several owners. The concept is therefore not limited to a single owner hiring staff: it also allows families to run a business together.
Sánchez Rojas said this approach is already being used in Córdoba. There, a mother bought a unit and subsequently partnered with other parents to form the team. This example shows how one of the initial projects is being organised, although the first commercial openings were still scheduled for the month after the announcement.
An investment of ARS 26 million per unit
The initial investment quoted by the founder is ARS 26 million per unit. This covers an equipped trailer measuring four metres long by two metres wide, which forms the physical base of the food business.
This figure sets out the announced cost of buying into the format, but should not be confused with a forecast of financial returns. For prospective franchisees, the next step is to establish exactly what equipment is included in the contract and calculate the costs of operating at the chosen location.
In this model, the investment decision is also tied to how people participate. Buying a unit to employ others is different from setting up a business jointly with several families. Before proceeding, it is worth agreeing who the owners will be, how tasks will be divided and what responsibilities each participant will take on.
Production in Río Cuarto and frozen distribution
Product replenishment will rely on Cono Pizzas’ logistics network. According to Sánchez Rojas, the factory in Río Cuarto, Córdoba province, produces around 7,500 pizza cones a day and distributes frozen products to locations across the country.
Deliveries take place weekly or fortnightly, depending on the destination. This frequency will be important when planning supplies for each trailer, particularly where regular trading is combined with event appearances. Stock planning and frozen storage will need to reflect that delivery schedule.
The project also draws on the brand’s previous franchising experience. Cono Pizzas has four franchised outlets, in Trelew, General Villegas, Santa Fe and Tucumán. The founder cited this network as the operational track record behind the new concept, which will use a mobile sales format and have its own operating arrangements.
Initial projects and permit applications under way
The first Food Trucks Infinito projects are being prepared in Buenos Aires, Río Cuarto, Córdoba and Tucumán. The intention is to combine a regular trading location with attendance at events, making location a central consideration in getting the businesses up and running.
At the time of the announcement, Sánchez Rojas said locations and permits were being arranged with local authorities. It is therefore important to distinguish projects in preparation from units that are already trading: the announced schedule places the first openings in November.
The creator has also received enquiries from other countries, although he has made launching domestic operations the priority. The immediate focus is therefore on getting the first Argentine units operating and organising their supplies and trading locations.
Practical takeaway: before investing, confirm what is included with the trailer, check the permits required for the proposed location, and agree in writing on ownership, tasks and the support needed by those taking part in the business.
