FinEasy ended its first year of operations with 24 outlets and 42 franchisees in Portugal. The Fidelidade Group’s credit brokerage business, which launched with three locations in the Lisbon metropolitan area, expects to reach 40 outlets and 85 franchisees by the end of 2026, according to an update released on 13 October.
From Lisbon to a nationwide presence
FinEasy officially launched in October 2025. Its first three outlets were concentrated in the Lisbon metropolitan area, but over the following 12 months the brand expanded into other Portuguese regions.
According to the company, the network now stretches from northern to southern Portugal and includes the Azores, with a particularly strong presence in the North and Centre regions. Growth from three to 24 outlets represents an eightfold increase in its initial footprint.
The update provides two distinct measures of expansion: the number of customer-facing locations and the number of franchisees. The 24 outlets are supported by 42 franchisees, so the two figures should not be treated as interchangeable. For those in the franchise sector, this distinction matters when assessing the network’s size and development.
Target of 40 outlets by December
By the end of 2026, FinEasy expects to reach 40 outlets and 85 franchisees. Compared with the figures reported on its first anniversary, these targets represent an additional 16 customer-facing locations and 43 franchisees.
These are targets announced by the company, rather than openings or franchise agreements already completed. Its stated aim is to maintain its growth trajectory, bringing services closer to customers and extending the network’s coverage.
In the anniversary update, FinEasy chief executive João Raposo said the market’s response had “exceeded our expectations”. He also recalled the conviction behind the launch: helping Portuguese families make better-informed borrowing decisions.
He also highlighted the franchisees who had chosen FinEasy and the Fidelidade brand to build their businesses. His message therefore linked the network’s growth to the contribution of its partners, as well as to the increase in customer-facing premises.
Multi-brand branches planned for 2027
FinEasy’s next announced phase involves expanding its presence through multi-brand branches from 2027. These locations are intended to complement the current model, which is built around the Fidelidade network.
The announcement points to an additional route for expanding the business’s footprint, rather than replacing the existing model. The company presents multi-brand branches as a complement to the structure that supported its first year of operations.
In parallel, FinEasy is preparing to enter the consumer credit market. This initiative forms part of its plans for 2027 and is intended to broaden the financing options available to customers.
The two measures address different aspects of the next phase: the development of the premises through which the brand serves the public, and the expansion of its offering. At this stage, both remain announced plans for the following year.
A network combining insurance and financial brokerage
FinEasy was created by bringing together Fidelidade’s insurance intermediary network and Reorganiza, a Portuguese financial consultancy and brokerage firm that helps families and individuals manage their personal finances.
Its model is based on a national credit brokerage network that negotiates financing terms with banks on behalf of customers, taking their needs into account. This is the foundation on which the company has built its current geographical presence and is preparing its next steps.
For anyone exploring franchise opportunities, the update separates three elements: the network’s current size, its targets for December and its projects for 2027. In practice, prospective franchisees should confirm with the brand which model is available and distinguish the existing operation from formats that are still at the planning stage.
