Schwarz Weiss Reinigung now operates at more than 150 locations across Germany. According to a report published by Südkurier on 3 November 2026, 50 locations have been added this year alone. Behind this growth is a franchise model through which company head Daoud explicitly aims to help people facing particular barriers in the labour market become self-employed.
From cleaning jobs to a franchise network
The 42-year-old entrepreneur now focuses primarily on developing and supporting his network. According to the report, he has not taken on cleaning jobs himself for years. Instead, the article describes his role as that of a mentor, helping others build their own businesses under a shared brand.
Daoud established the legal basis for granting licences in 2024 by setting up a GmbH, a German limited liability company. By that year, eight additional locations had opened under the Schwarz Weiss Reinigung name. The report now puts the total at more than 150 locations in Germany. According to the figures it cites, the network can serve 476 towns and cities.
These two measures should be distinguished: the number of towns and cities that can be served refers to geographical coverage, not the number of separate operating locations. The addition of 50 locations during the current year is therefore particularly relevant when assessing growth. It reflects the network’s recent expansion, while the number of towns and cities indicates its potential reach.
Training in Konstanz prepares partners to get started
The model aims to connect demand for cleaning services with small businesses and self-employed operators that have spare capacity but struggle to be found by potential customers. Daoud sees his role as bringing these two sides together.
The opportunity is explicitly open to people from migrant backgrounds, those without vocational qualifications and those who lack German language skills. Many are keen to work, Daoud tells Südkurier. His franchise system is intended to give them a route into running their own business, with support that extends beyond the use of a shared brand.
New partners spend several days in Konstanz, in southern Germany, attending a range of courses. These cover the German language, technical knowledge and key terminology, alongside business administration tasks such as preparing quotations and invoices. The preparation therefore combines practical cleaning knowledge with the basics of running a business.
For those considering the German franchise market, the combination of technical preparation and language support is particularly noteworthy. Getting started is not treated solely as a matter of carrying out cleaning work: communication and administration are also part of the training described.
Ongoing support in return for a share of turnover
Alongside the courses, the company provides a management system developed by Daoud. Franchisees can use it to access resources such as invoice templates. These are intended to simplify recurring administrative tasks and form part of the system provided to new partners for their own businesses.
According to the report, another priority is personal contact with every franchisee. Daoud devotes a substantial part of his work to this support, which includes marketing, administrative tasks and translations for partners who are still learning German. Support therefore continues beyond the introductory courses in Konstanz.
Daoud says the GmbH receives ten per cent of turnover under the model. According to the report, this is not charged as a fixed sum. For prospective partners, the basis of this calculation matters: the stated share is based on turnover, not profit. Before joining, they should clarify exactly which services it covers under their franchise agreement.
The next target: 300 locations
Daoud has set a further growth target for 2027, when he wants the network to reach 300 locations. In the longer term, he would like Schwarz Weiss Reinigung to be represented in 1,000 towns and cities. Both figures are the entrepreneur’s future targets, rather than network sizes already achieved.
The current position is therefore clear: more than 150 locations, 50 additions in 2026 and, according to the report, potential coverage of 476 towns and cities. The next target would represent a substantial expansion of the existing network. At the same time, personal support for partners remains a central element of the model described.
Practical takeaway: Anyone considering joining should examine the scope of training, ongoing support and the turnover-based fee in particular. With this concept, it is also worth looking closely at how language and administrative support would work in the day-to-day running of their own business.
