From 14 to 16 October 2026, Confiez-Nous brought its franchisees together at Campus F2R in Saint-Quentin-sur-le-Homme, in Normandy’s Manche department, for its national convention. The three-day event combined networking and conference sessions on the day-to-day challenges facing home care and support branches, from staff retention to managing unpaid invoices.
Three days to share the realities of running a branch
According to the report published on 27 October by L’Observatoire de la franchise, franchisees from across France gathered with three aims: to meet, share and improve. Exchanges between network members were central to the convention, alongside sessions devoted to branch operations.
This format highlights a practical benefit of belonging to a franchise network: the opportunity for business owners operating in different locations to come together around shared concerns. At Confiez-Nous, the topics covered people management as well as business administration and compliance.
The choice of Campus F2R as the venue also placed training at the heart of the event. The campus’s own training courses were among the subjects presented, with the aim of supporting staff skills development. The gathering was therefore more than a team-building occasion: it also included sessions on knowledge relevant to running the branches.
Staff retention, quality and the agency model on the agenda
Staff retention was one of the main conference themes. In the programme, it was linked to continuity and quality of care and support. For home care and support branches, this approach puts staff at the centre of client relationships, looking beyond recruitment alone.
Quality and compliance were also covered. The report describes them as pillars of client trust. Their inclusion in the convention underlines the attention paid to branch practices, complementing the discussions on human resources.
Another session addressed the specific features of France’s mode mandataire, an arrangement in which the client employs the care or support worker directly, while the agency acts on the client’s behalf. This was treated as a separate topic alongside other operational issues. No regulatory change was announced at the event: it was a conference theme, rather than the introduction of a new obligation for the network.
Taken together, these themes point to a clear priority for this year’s event: examining how services are delivered and monitored, while giving franchisees the opportunity to compare experiences.
Unpaid invoices and artificial intelligence among the management topics
The convention also addressed the management of unpaid invoices, presented as an important part of safeguarding branches’ financial health. This added a financial dimension to a programme largely focused on staff and the quality of care and support.
Artificial intelligence was also on the agenda, with a focus on its potential operational uses. However, the report gives no details of any tools deployed or measured results. This should therefore be understood as the start of work on the subject, rather than an announcement that a solution has already been rolled out across Confiez-Nous branches.
The varied programme thus combined immediate concerns, such as unpaid invoices, with a subject that could change working practices, such as artificial intelligence. Campus F2R’s training courses rounded out the programme with a focus on skills development.
A gathering following several openings in France
The convention followed several announcements of new locations in spring and summer 2026. Confiez-Nous notably announced new branches in Séreilhac, in the Haute-Vienne department; Marquette-lez-Lille, in Nord; and Camaret-sur-Aigues, in Vaucluse.
In June, the network also announced its first branch in Alsace, in Schiltigheim. These openings provide geographical context for October’s national gathering, but do not in themselves offer enough information to quantify the brand’s overall expansion.
Key takeaway: for prospective franchisees, the convention’s themes provide a useful set of questions to ask: what training is available, how are exchanges between franchisees organised, and what support is offered on compliance or unpaid invoices?
