VR Parque, the immersive entertainment company formerly known as VR Arena, has added a venue in Villa Crespo and is seeking to expand across Argentina and Latin America through franchising. This new phase combines a rebrand, a broader range of experiences and plans to enter Uruguay in February 2027, according to a report published by Revista Mercado on 4 November.
A new brand for a broader offering
The company launched in November 2024 as VR Arena. Its transformation into VR Parque goes beyond a visual refresh: it has expanded and diversified its experiences beyond virtual reality, offering technology-based entertainment for families, groups of friends, businesses and events.
The change supports its search for entrepreneurs, investors and strategic partners to develop new venues. For Argentina’s franchise sector, the offering brings together in-person entertainment, equipment and digital content within a single operating model.
The company aims to offer flexible formats suited to different markets and investor profiles. Its stated goal for 2027 is to extend its franchise network to cities across Argentina and Latin America. This is an expansion target, rather than a list of confirmed openings.
Villa Crespo and Florianópolis mark progress in 2026
During 2026, VR Parque added a venue in Florianópolis, Brazil, and another in Villa Crespo, a neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. Both openings form part of the regional development of a brand now present in both countries.
The Villa Crespo venue expands its presence in the Argentine capital, where it also operates in Abasto. The Brazilian opening, meanwhile, marks a step towards taking the concept internationally.
The next market identified by the company is Uruguay, with entry planned for February 2027. It is worth distinguishing this proposed timetable from the venues already added: Uruguay is part of the announced plans, while Villa Crespo and Florianópolis represent openings completed during 2026.
The strategy therefore combines two strands: building a stronger presence in Buenos Aires and developing operations outside Argentina. Franchising is the chosen vehicle for the next phase.
Franchise packages from US$50,000, but total investment is higher
One of the key points in the announcement is the distinction between the price of a franchise package and the capital required to launch a park. According to VR Parque co-founder Ilnur Mukhtov, packages start at US$50,000, while estimated total investment starts at approximately US$120,000.
The total depends on the format and the specifics of each project. The US$50,000 figure should therefore not be treated as the full budget for opening a venue. For prospective investors, the relevant figure is the overall investment and its breakdown for a particular location.
The announced model includes technology, equipment, video games, venue design, digital platforms, training, marketing and operational support. The company presents this package as a way to make setting up new parks easier by drawing on its operating experience.
This list describes the broad scope of the offering, but does not replace a review of each package’s terms or the specific opening budget.
Abasto’s results and how to interpret them
As an indication of trading performance, VR Parque released internal figures for its Abasto venue. According to the company, the venue recorded turnover of nearly US$90,000 in a single month. During the first half of 2026, average monthly turnover was approximately US$48,000, with a net margin of around 22%.
These figures relate to one specific venue and defined periods. The monthly peak is not the same as the six-month average, and neither measure alone constitutes a forecast of results for future franchisees.
Practical takeaway: before proceeding, request the full budget for your chosen format, clarify what the package includes and compare projections for the proposed location with the brand’s operating track record.
