Yiniao Meiju completes commercial franchise filing under Chengdu Yiniao Technology

Chengdu Yiniao Technology Co., Ltd. completed its commercial franchise filing on 26 October 2026 for the brand Yiniao Meiju (益鸟美居). The filing gives those exploring China’s franchise market a specific record against which to check the brand and its operating entity, providing a starting point for further due diligence.

Filing identifies the brand and legal entity

According to a market news report published on 27 October, information on China’s Ministry of Commerce website identifies Chengdu Yiniao Technology Co., Ltd. (成都益鸟科技有限公司) as the company named in the filing, with Yiniao Meiju as the associated franchise brand. When reviewing franchise recruitment materials, readers should distinguish between these two names: the former is the legal entity, while the latter is the franchise brand listed in the filing.

For prospective franchisees, the first practical step is to verify the full name of the company that will sign the proposed agreement, rather than simply checking whether Yiniao Meiju appears in promotional materials. If different entities handle recruitment, receive payments and appear in the contract, ask for an explanation of their respective roles and verifiable authorisation or partnership documents.

Company records show incorporation in 2017

Citing information from Chinese business information platform Tianyancha, the report states that Chengdu Yiniao Technology Co., Ltd. was established on 26 July 2017. Its address is Ground Floor, 938 Jiaozi Avenue, Chengdu High-tech Zone, and its legal representative is Chen Junhua. Its principal activities are software and information technology services.

The company has registered capital of RMB 14,678,363 and paid-in capital of RMB 4,853,801. These figures represent different things and should not be conflated. Nor should capital figures alone be used to assess the potential return on a franchise investment. For operators comparing opportunities, company records provide a starting point for verifying the legal entity; the specific terms of any partnership still need to be checked individually against supporting documents.

Filing authority depends on geographical scope

The report also cites Article 3 of the Measures for the Administration of Commercial Franchise Filing, which designates the Ministry of Commerce and the commerce departments of provincial, autonomous region and directly administered municipal governments as the authorities responsible for commercial franchise filings.

Franchisors operating within a single province, autonomous region or directly administered municipality must file with the provincial-level commerce department where they are based. Those operating across these boundaries must file with the Ministry of Commerce. When checking records, prospective franchisees should review the company’s full name, the franchise brand and the relevant filing details together, rather than relying on similar-sounding names.

Assessing the opportunity still comes down to the contract

The key point in this announcement is the link established by the filing between Chengdu Yiniao Technology and Yiniao Meiju. It should not be taken as confirmation that franchise opportunities are available in any particular area, or that any claimed franchise returns have been verified.

Interested operators can request further details on territory, fees, head office support, each party’s responsibilities and exit arrangements. They should also compare verbal promises with the written contract, point by point.

Practical tip: verify the entity named in the filing first, then check the authorisation arrangements and contractual terms. Keeping brand identification separate from the investment decision is a sound starting point for assessing a franchise opportunity.
