About the QFA
Raising franchise standards around the world
The Quality Franchise Association (QFA) is a not-for-profit association. Our mission is to grow franchising, raise professional standards and support the franchise community.
The QFA in Singapore
QFA Singapore brings our standards, directory, guides and events to franchisors, franchisees and partners in Singapore, connected to a network of QFA country sites around the world.
Who we are
In many countries franchising has no single regulator or ombudsman. The QFA helps fill that gap: we support franchise businesses and people who want to start their own business through franchising.
Supporting franchisors and promoting franchising for all is at the heart of everything we do. Our board, members and brand ambassadors work together to promote ethical franchising, and every franchisor member agrees to follow the QFA Code of Conduct and Members Charter.
What we do
Raising professional standards
Our members agree to follow the QFA Code of Conduct and Members Charter, so people can deal with them with confidence.
Education
We lecture at educational institutions and business support organisations and offer free and subsidised online training, including the Verified Franchising Professional (VFP) qualification.
Franchising awards
We launched the first Virtual Franchising Awards (VFA), which receive hundreds of entries each year and are supported by leading brands.
Webinars and events
Regular webinars from leading brands and partner members, plus exhibitions and seminars that are free to attend.
Thought leadership
Through webinars, events and research — including our survey on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on franchising — we share insight with the franchise community.
Supporting worthy causes
We support charities, including food banks helping families through the cost-of-living crisis.
International franchising
The QFA operates in many countries and has associates around the world to help members expand internationally.
