Expo Franquicias Monterrey 2026: dates and expected brands

Expo Franquicias Monterrey 2026 will take place on 11 and 12 November at Cintermex. The event will bring together brands, investors and entrepreneurs in the Mexican state of Nuevo León, which has around 2,300 outlets and approximately 397 franchise brands, according to figures published by Mundo Ejecutivo on 6 October.

Two days to explore and compare opportunities

The exhibition is organised by Apex and Globalexpo, presented by the Government of Aguascalientes and supported by the Feria Internacional de Franquicias. It aims to bring together a range of business models, allowing visitors to explore investment options, compare concepts and make direct contact with brands.

For the franchise community in northern Mexico, the event offers a meeting place for prospective business owners and companies keen to showcase their business models. The range of opportunities announced extends beyond food businesses, with options in education, services and wellbeing.

Conversations at the exhibition can provide an initial opportunity to request specific information. It is important to distinguish this stage from an investment decision: meeting a brand and hearing its presentation is no substitute for reviewing its financial terms, operational requirements and documentation.

Brands considering taking part

Companies considering taking part include Kumon, Dog Haus, Mutcha Pizza, Viajes Bumeran, Maple Bear, Auto Tyre, Aquaclyva, Club Pilates, 7Clean, Boba Chai Tea, Mira Mira and American Express, according to information released about the event.

The list reflects the variety of companies expected at the exhibition. Their participation is described as an intention, so it should not be treated as a final exhibitor list or as confirmation that all will offer the same type of commercial opportunity.

For visitors planning their schedules, that distinction matters. It is worth identifying which companies offer franchises, which provide complementary services and what information will be available in each case. This allows comparisons to focus on equivalent opportunities rather than brand recognition alone.

It is also useful to arrive with questions about the time commitment required, the operator profile sought and the conditions for opening in a particular location. The aim is to use direct contact to understand the scope of each opportunity before moving on to a financial assessment.

Nuevo León offers a diverse commercial base

The figures published by Mundo Ejecutivo identify Monterrey and its metropolitan area as the main hub for franchise operations and growth in Nuevo León. The state has around 2,300 outlets, a figure that helps put the exhibition's host market into perspective.

Food and drink accounts for the largest share, at 32% of established outlets. Personal care, health and beauty follows with 20%, and general services with 13%. This breakdown shows that, although food remains the largest of these categories, other sectors also have a significant presence.

For those considering opening an outlet, these proportions provide context but cannot, on their own, establish whether a business will be viable. Prospective investors should weigh the overall appeal of each category against local conditions at the proposed site and the resources needed to operate.

An event in a year of forecast growth

At national level, the same publication reports that more than 1,500 brands operate approximately 95,000 outlets and generate over one million direct and indirect jobs. It also cites a forecast of roughly 6% growth in outlet numbers during 2026; this is an expectation, not a year-end result.

The trends described include models with lower initial investment requirements and concepts focused on wellbeing, health and pet care. Technology adoption is another factor: according to the publication, more than 70% of brands are implementing digital and omnichannel strategies to improve the customer experience and extend their reach.

These factors provide context for the conversations the franchise community will be able to hold at Cintermex. To make the most of a visit, it is worth preparing a shortlist of brands, requesting written information and comparing total investment, operational responsibilities and the support offered before making any commitment.
